The Microduino Core+ ATMega644 is a compact, high-performance core module built around the Atmel ATmega644PA microcontroller. Roughly a quarter of the size of a standard Arduino Mega2560, this small white PCB packs 64KB of Flash memory, 4KB of SRAM, and 2KB of EEPROM into a tiny footprint, making it ideal for builds that need extra processing capability in limited space.

  • ATmega644PA chip with 64KB Flash, 4KB SRAM and 2KB EEPROM
  • Runs at 16MHz with a 5V supply, or 8MHz at 3.3V for low-power, battery-operated designs
  • 32 digital I/O pins, 8 analog inputs, 8 PWM outputs and 2 hardware serial ports
  • Standard UPin-27 connector lets you stack modules and sensors with ease
  • Breadboard-friendly 2.54mm (0.1 inch) pin pitch
  • Open-source hardware, fully compatible with the Arduino IDE
  • Lightweight optiboot bootloader for fast sketch uploads

As shown in the product image, the module features a square layout with a black microprocessor at its center, gold-plated headers around the edges, and neatly labeled connection points for easy identification. Like all Microduino products, the Core+ uses the U-shape 27-pin interface so it can be stacked with other modules and sensors. Sketches can be uploaded through a Microduino-FT232R module or an ISP cable, and code can be ported between Core and Core+ without any modification. Whether you are building robotics, IoT gadgets, or wearable tech, this little board delivers Mega-class capability in a pocket-sized package.
